The Aldiana Club Resorts are once again among the most popular vacation hotels for Germans: Three clubs were honored with the prestigious HolidayCheck Gold Award 2026. The winners are the Aldiana Club Andalusien, the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide, and the Aldiana Club Fuerteventura—all three received the coveted award for their consistently high quality and exceptional guest satisfaction.
The HolidayCheck Award 2026 is based on more than 892,000 verified reviews from vacationers. A total of 717 hotels from 36 countries worldwide were honored, including 173 properties that received the Gold Award. The Mediterranean region is making a strong statement: Six of the ten highest-rated hotels were honored with the Gold Award—compelling evidence of sustained excellence and long-standing guest satisfaction. This year marks the eighth time the HolidayCheck Gold Award has been presented. Only hotels that are among the HolidayCheck Award winners in 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 and have consistently impressed their guests with a high standard of quality over many years are eligible for the award.
During the pandemic years of 2021 and 2022, the “HolidayCheck Special Award” was presented; these years are not included in the Gold Award evaluation. Strict criteria apply for the award: To be considered for the award at all, a hotel must have received at least 50 reviews between December 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025. In addition, a recommendation rate of at least 90 percent is required. The award is determined solely by guest reviews—HolidayCheck itself has no influence on the selection process. All reviews undergo a comprehensive verification process and must comply with the HolidayCheck Code of Conduct.
