Learning to Swim on a Club Vacation

Flosse Swimming School

At nearly all of our clubs, we offer swimming lessons for children ages 3 and up in collaboration with our partners at the Flosse Swimming School. Here, kids learn to swim while having fun and getting excited about it. Suitable for both kids and adults.

The focus of our Flosse swimming lessons:

Playful Water Acclimation

Have Fun Getting to Know and Love Water

Assessing Risks

Learning about and assessing hazards on, in, and around the water

Movement Sequences & Self-Rescue

Moving safely in the water in all situations

Breaststroke & Swimming Strokes

Breaststroke technique, technique improvement, and learning new swimming strokes

Swimming Lessons on Vacation

Which course is right for you?

Who can take a Flosse swimming course?

Children ages 3 and up: Self-rescue course (Flosse course: 6 x 30 minutes) and preparation for the Seepferdchen badge (Seepferdchen course: plus 4–6 sessions)
Older children ages 4–16 make tremendous progress with Flosse training and can earn all German swimming badges.
Adult beginners: With Flosse on vacation, even adults can learn to swim quickly and gain more confidence.
Adult fitness swimmers: The Flosse swim instructor will help you improve your technique and teach you the crawl stroke.
Competitive swimmers: All ambitious club swimmers or triathletes look forward to new training ideas from the fin swimming instructor.
Non-swimmers: Private lessons only
Advanced/Adults: Private lessons, 2-person classes, or groups of up to 4 people (subject to availability)
