FAQ: Club Vacations in Andalusia

In Spain, German citizens can enter the country with a passport or national ID card without any additional requirements. You can find all the important and up-to-date information here: aldiana.com/infos.

For guests on all-inclusive flight packages, the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back—provided it has been booked and confirmed—is included in the tour price. The bus transfer from the Jerez de la Frontera airport takes about 50 minutes (approx. 60 km). If you’re traveling on your own by rental car or private vehicle: Parking spaces at the club are available for €12 per day/night. If you’re traveling on your own, you can book a paid taxi transfer in advance. Check with your travel agency or call the Aldiana reservation hotline at +49 (0) 234 961035204 for prices. A taxi on site costs starting at €90 (plus surcharges). Oversized luggage requires a separate transfer. Destination airport: Jerez de la Frontera. Check-In / Late Check-Out: Rooms are available for check-in starting at 4:00 p.m. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. For later departures, a late check-out can be requested at the front desk (subject to availability, starting at €30).

For package tours that include airfare, the transfer is included in the tour price. The bus transfer from Jerez Airport takes about 50 minutes. The distance from the airport to the Aldiana Club Andalusien is approximately 60 km. If you’re traveling on your own, you can book a paid taxi transfer from your destination airport to the Aldiana and back before your trip. Please check with your travel agency or call the Aldiana service hotline at 0234 961035204 for exact prices. A local taxi from the airport to the Aldiana costs approximately 90 euros or more (excluding weekend, holiday, and nighttime surcharges). To transport your special luggage, you must book a separate transfer. The destination airport is Jerez de la Frontera.

The official language at the Aldiana Club Andalusia is German. Most of our staff also speak English. The local language is Spanish.

At the Aldiana Club Andalusia, you can use your electrical devices with the standard 230-volt plug used in Germany. You do not need an adapter.

Spain is in the same time zone as Germany.

A tourist tax is currently levied at the following Aldiana Club resorts: Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide, Club Ampflwang, Club Hochkönig, and Club Salzkammergut. This tax is set by the respective state governments and collected on site. The amount may vary. All Aldiana guests will receive the exact and current tourist tax rates on site at their booked Aldiana Club.

In general, you do not need any special vaccinations or medical protection for your vacation at the Aldiana Club in Andalusia. However, we recommend that you obtain information well in advance about infectious diseases, vaccinations, and other preventive measures; if necessary, you should seek medical advice regarding thrombosis and other health risks. Please refer to general information sources, particularly local health departments, physicians experienced in travel medicine, tropical medicine specialists, the Travel Medicine Information Service, or the Federal Center for Health Education.

The national currency in Spain is the euro.

Our guests at the club have the option of seeing a doctor upon request. A private clinic is located three minutes away from the club by taxi (24-hour service available).

The Aldiana Club Andalusia features a pool bar, a bar by the tennis courts, a beach bar (depending on the season and license), and a bar in the Welldiana Spa. The bars serve a wide variety of drinks, such as coffee, cocktails, soft drinks, beer, and wine, and some also offer light snacks.

A vacation is also about enjoying yourself without a care in the world, which is why at Aldiana Andalusia, almost everything is already included in the price of your stay. The package includes our extensive buffets, gourmet menus (for an additional fee at the specialty restaurant), light wellness dishes, bottled water, soft drinks, and table wine. Even beer, sparkling wine/cava, and cocktails—with the exception of drinks from the à la carte menu—are included. Almost all sports and fitness activities, use of the Welldiana Spa facilities such as the sauna, swimming pool, and fitness room, as well as introductory classes, are already included in the package price. Of course, this also includes childcare for children ages 2 and up and entertainment programs. This gives you complete peace of mind when planning your vacation budget.

The Aldiana Club Andalusia features a main restaurant with live cooking stations, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style as well as on prepared gourmet plates. In addition, there is a specialty restaurant that offers regional specialties, fine wines, and champagne several times a week for an additional fee. A limited number of outdoor dining seats are available. Advance reservations are only possible if you order from the wine or champagne menu; all terrace tables that haven’t been reserved in advance are, of course, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please feel free to ask our friendly restaurant staff for assistance.

Depending on availability, the facilities also offer diabetic meals, as well as lactose-free and gluten-free options. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options whenever possible. You can reserve free baby and toddler kits for your vacation in advance. Cribs are available; diapers can be purchased at Aldiana; a baby monitor system that connects to your personal cell phone is available for a fee; baby food (local products) can be purchased at the Aldiana Club; and we can prepare baby food for you. Babysitting services are available upon request for a fee.

Children are welcome guests at the Aldiana Club Andalusia. We want their vacation with us to be an unforgettable experience, too. Making friends, discovering exciting new things, running around, playing, trying out different sports—we do our very best for the little ones and try to make almost anything possible. Almost all of our counselors have professional training in early childhood education and are known for their sensitivity and experience. Aldiana offers free childcare for children ages 2–6, as well as programs for children and teens ages 7–17 during German school breaks.

Aldiana Andalusia has an entertainment team that takes care of you from morning to night—but only if you want them to, of course. It starts with a morning fitness class, continues with daily archery, games by the pool, and the Aldiana Show in the evening. Our entertainment team operates under the motto: Everyone can, but no one has to! You’re guaranteed never to get bored, and if you just want some peace and quiet, we’ll respect that, of course!

From us, for you: We’re transforming our famous Aldiana Gala Evening into Aldiana Memories Day. Once a week, a Memories Day in a class of its own awaits you. We’ll surprise, pamper, and delight you with highlights and special offers all day long—from the sun’s rays during the day until dusk sets in. You can now enjoy our delicious and cozy aperitif, accompanied by live music, for even longer. With no time pressure at all—just relax as you make your way to dinner. The club manager’s speech and the special show highlights round out Memories Day.

The Aldiana Club Andalusia has its own tour guide service, which is available to assist our guests with any questions or requests. You can book excursions to the most beautiful locations and sites right here at the Aldiana Club Andalusia. The tour guide service is your expert point of contact for any questions regarding your stay.

We recommend casual-chic summer and athletic wear during the day; for the evening, depending on the season, you may also want to bring a warm cardigan, sweater, or light jacket. At Aldiana restaurants, style is important—guests dress in a casual-chic manner. Men typically wear long pants in the evening. Once a week, there’s a gala dinner with a “black and white” theme (see “Gala Evening” above). We’d appreciate it if you could coordinate your outfit accordingly.

The front desk at the Aldiana Club Andalusia is open 24 hours a day and serves as the central point of contact for any questions you may have about your vacation.

The Aldiana Club Andalusia is located directly on the long, expansive, fine-sand, gently sloping beach known as “Playa la Barrosa.” The beach forms Spain’s national border and is public territory; therefore, lounge chairs and umbrellas are rented there for a fee. A beach bar, lounge chairs, and umbrellas are available each year from April through October, subject to licensing by local authorities. Due to last-minute official approvals, later availability cannot be ruled out.

Our Aldiana Club Andalusia is accessible and wheelchair-friendly in most areas. Exception: the beach. In addition, a limited number of accessible rooms are available.

Pets are not allowed at the Aldiana Club Andalusia.

The Aldiana Club Andalusia features two unheated outdoor pools, an unheated children's pool at the Flosse Club, and a heated indoor pool at the Welldiana Spa. The Welldiana Spa is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (subject to seasonal changes).
