Everything You Need to Know About Your Vacation at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide
Getting There
Starting January 1, 2025, German citizens will need a PASSPORT valid for at least another 6 months to enter Tunisia.
Stateless persons and citizens of other countries should contact their consulate or embassy. You are personally responsible for ensuring your travel documents are in order.

The use of photo/video drones is prohibited in Tunisia. Drones are immediately confiscated upon entry into Tunisia on suspicion of espionage. Binoculars are also confiscated by customs.
For flight package tours, the transfer is included in the tour price. For our flight package guests, the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back—if booked as such and noted on the confirmation—is included in the tour price. The bus transfer from the airport to the club takes about 25 minutes. A private taxi transfer from the airport to Aldiana costs between 10 and 12 euros. The destination airport is Djerba-Zarzis International Airport. Depending on your arrival time, your room will be available no later than 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. In most cases, however, you can check in earlier—often immediately upon arrival.
For package tours that include airfare, the transfer is included in the tour price. The bus transfer from the airport to the club takes about 25 minutes. A private taxi transfer from the airport to the Aldiana costs between €10 and €12.
You can rent a car on-site directly at the club. Both the driver and the renter must be at least 21 years old. The traffic rules are the same as those in Central Europe, and there is a strict ban on drinking and driving.
About the Vacation Destination
The official language at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide is German. The official national language is Arabic, but French is also widely spoken.
At the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide, you can use your electrical devices with the standard 230-volt plug used in Germany. You do not need an adapter.
The time difference between Germany and Tunisia is -1 hour during German daylight saving time.
In Tunisia, a tourist tax is levied for the first 10 nights of stay. This tax amounts to 12 TND for adults and children aged 12 and older, which is approximately 3.60 EUR / 3.40 CHF per day per person.
These rates apply exclusively to travelers from the EU, the EEA, and Switzerland. If this requirement is not met, the hotel may refuse accommodation or charge a surcharge on site.

In general, you do not need any special vaccinations or medical protection for your vacation at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide. However, we recommend that you obtain information in a timely manner regarding infectious diseases, vaccinations, and other preventive measures; if necessary, you should seek medical advice regarding thrombosis and other health risks. Please refer to general information sources, particularly local health departments, physicians experienced in travel medicine, tropical medicine specialists, the Travel Medicine Information Service, or the Federal Center for Health Education.
The local currency in Tunisia is the Tunisian dinar. Foreign currency in cash may be brought into the country; amounts of €2,500 or more must be declared. The import and export of Tunisian currency is strictly prohibited! 3.5 TND = approx. €1 (Please check the current exchange rate before your departure). Tunisian dinars can only be exchanged back at the bank at the airport upon presentation of the exchange authorization, up to 50% of the amount originally exchanged, with a maximum of 100 TND per person.
Medical care is guaranteed at all times at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide. A doctor is available at set times or by appointment. In addition, a trained nurse is on duty 24 hours a day at the resort.
Dining at the Club
At the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide, you’ll find a pool bar, a lobby bar, and a beach bar. You can enjoy drinks at the Blue Dolphin nightclub until late at night. The bars serve a wide variety of beverages, such as coffee, cocktails, soft drinks, beer, and wine. Starting at 8:00 p.m., drinks at the beach bar (Nautika Bar) are subject to a charge.
A vacation is all about carefree enjoyment, which is why almost everything is included in the package price at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide. The package includes our extensive buffets, gourmet menus, light wellness dishes, bottled water, soft drinks, and table wine. Even beer, soft drinks, and cocktails—with the exception of drinks from the à la carte menu—are included. Almost all sports and fitness activities, use of our Welldiana Club Spa, and introductory classes are already included in the package price. Of course, this also includes childcare and entertainment programs. This gives you complete peace of mind when planning your vacation budget. Drinks at the beach bar are subject to a charge starting at 8:00 p.m.
The Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide features a main restaurant with live cooking stations, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style as well as on prepared gourmet plates. In addition, there’s the beach restaurant La Pescadora, where we serve breakfast in the morning, a barbecue lunch, and specialities with rotating menus on select evenings. Our late-riser breakfast is served in the main restaurant or at the beach restaurant. A snack bar is available in the afternoon.
Depending on availability, the facilities also offer diabetic meals, as well as lactose- and gluten-free options. We also offer vegetarian and vegan delicacies whenever possible. If you have any special requests, we’re of course available to assist you on-site or via lebensmittelunvertraeglichkeiten@aldiana.com.
Kids & Teens
You can reserve free baby and toddler kits in advance for your vacation. Additionally, the club offers: cribs, and facilities for preparing baby food. Powdered milk and baby cereal (local products) are available free of charge. Diapers are available on site (for a fee).
Children are welcome guests at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide. We want their vacation with us to be an unforgettable experience, too. Making friends, discovering exciting new things, running around, playing, and trying out different sports—we make everything possible for the little ones. Almost all of our counselors have professional training in education and are known for their sensitivity and experience. Aldiana offers free childcare for children and teens ages 2 to 17.
Club Vacation
The Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide has an entertainment team that’s there for you from morning to night—but only if you want them to, of course. It starts with a morning fitness class, continues with daily archery, poolside games, and the Aldiana Show in the evening. Our entertainment team operates under the motto: Everyone can, but no one has to! You’re guaranteed never to get bored, and if you just want some peace and quiet, we’ll respect that, too!

Every Thursday, we dress up in our finest. This season, two very special themed evenings await you, alternating weekly.

Of course, you’re also welcome to dress elegantly in black and white.
The club features a small shopping arcade with a boutique and a mini-market. Here you can buy everyday items as well as clothing and souvenirs.
The Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide has its own tour guide who is available to assist our guests with any questions or requests. For guests on our flight-inclusive packages, this also includes assistance upon arrival at the destination airport and later when departing for home. Excursions in the host country can also be booked on site. The tour guide is your expert point of contact for any questions regarding your stay.
We recommend casual-chic summer and sportswear during the day, and a warm cardigan, sweater, or light jacket for the evening. At Aldiana restaurants, style is both expected and worn—the dress code is casual-chic. Men usually wear long pants in the evening.
The front desk at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide is open 24 hours a day and serves as the central point of contact for any questions you may have about your vacation.
The Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide is located on a long, expansive beach with fine white sand. The beach is particularly suitable for children because it slopes gently into the water. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Reservations for sun loungers are not permitted.
The resort is well-suited for wheelchair users. The following areas are wheelchair-accessible: the lobby, reception desk, restaurants (some), bars, fitness center, garden, swimming pool (to a limited extent), and the beach.
Pets are not allowed at the Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide.
The Aldiana Club Djerba Atlantide features two unheated outdoor pools, including a lap pool approximately 25 meters long, as well as a heated indoor pool 20 meters long. Free beach towel rentals, lounge chairs, and umbrellas are available at the pool and on the beach. Reservations for lounge chairs are not permitted.
