Frequently Asked Questions at Club Naga Bay

Your passport—including a temporary passport—must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of your trip. The maximum length of stay on a tourist visa is 28 days. We recommend entering the country with a passport, as entering with an ID card requires you to bring two passport photos, and the ID card is not accepted as a sufficient entry document by all authorities in Egypt.

For guests on our flight packages, the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back—if booked as such and noted on the confirmation—is included in the tour price. Transfer time: approx. 45 min from the airport (approx. 50 km) Depending on your arrival time, your room will be available no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

When booking a package tour that includes airfare, the transfer is included in the tour price. The bus transfer from Hurghada Airport takes about 45 minutes. You can request a private taxi transfer through our front desk.

Car rentals are not available. A shuttle or taxi can be arranged by the front desk upon request for a fee.

The official language at the Aldiana Club Naga Bay is German. Most of our staff also speak English. The local language is Arabic.

At the Aldiana Club Naga Bay, you can use your electrical devices with the standard 230-volt plug used in Germany. You do not need an adapter.

Egypt is 1 hour ahead of Germany.

The club does not charge a tourist tax.

In general, you do not need any special vaccinations or medical protection for your vacation at the Aldiana Club Naga Bay. However, we recommend that you obtain information in advance about infectious diseases, vaccinations, and other preventive measures; if necessary, you should seek medical advice regarding thrombosis and other health risks. Please refer to general information sources, particularly local health departments, doctors experienced in travel medicine, tropical medicine specialists, the Travel Medicine Information Service, or the Federal Center for Health Education.

The local currency in Egypt is the Egyptian pound. However, you can pay by credit card almost anywhere without any problems.

The doctor is at the club every day. You can find out the exact office hours at the front desk.

At all Aldiana resorts, you’ll usually find several bars—such as the pool bar, lobby bar, or fireplace bar—open between 10 a.m. and 1 a.m. These bars serve a wide variety of beverages, including coffee, cocktails, soft drinks, beer, and wine, as well as light snacks.

The Aldiana Club Naga Bay features a main restaurant where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. There is also a specialty restaurant (for an additional fee).

Depending on availability, the facilities also offer diabetic meals, as well as lactose-free and gluten-free options. We also offer vegetarian and vegan delicacies whenever possible. If you have any special requests, we’re of course available to assist you on-site or via lebensmittelunvertraeglichkeiten@aldiana.com.

You can reserve free baby and toddler kits in advance for your vacation. Baby food and diapers are also available for a fee. Our service staff can also prepare baby food for you.

Children are welcome guests at the Aldiana Club Naga Bay. We want their vacation with us to be an unforgettable experience, too. Making friends, discovering exciting new things, running around, playing, trying out different sports—we do our very best for the little ones and try to make almost anything possible. Our counselors are known for their sensitivity and experience. Aldiana offers free childcare for children ages 2 to 6, as well as programs for children and teens ages 7 to 17 during German school breaks.

The Aldiana Club Naga Bay has an entertainment team that’s there for you from morning to night—but only if you want them to, of course. It starts with a morning fitness class, continues with daily beach volleyball and poolside games, and culminates in the Aldiana Show in the evening. Our entertainment team operates under the motto: Everyone can, but no one has to! You’re guaranteed never to get bored, and if you just want some peace and quiet, we’ll respect that, too!

Aldiana Memories Day From us, for you: Once a week, Aldiana Memories Day awaits you. We’ll surprise, pamper, and delight you with highlights and special offers throughout the day. You can now enjoy our delicious and cozy aperitif, accompanied by live music, for even longer. With no time pressure at all—relax as you make your way to the gala dinner. The club manager’s speech and the special show highlights round out Aldiana Memories Day, which concludes with a party. Dress code: elegant attire.

The Aldiana Club Naga Bay has a DER Touristik tour guide who is available to assist our guests with any questions or requests. For guests on our flight-inclusive packages, this also includes assistance upon arrival at the destination airport and later when departing for home. You can also book local excursions in the host country while you’re there. The Guest Relations Team is your expert point of contact for all requests, questions, and suggestions regarding your stay. You’ll find them across from the front desk.

We recommend casual-chic summer and athletic wear during the day, and a warm cardigan, sweater, or light jacket for the evening. At Aldiana restaurants, style is both expected and embraced; the dress code is casual-chic. Men typically wear long pants in the evening. Once a week, we host a gala dinner with the theme “Elegant.” We’d be delighted if you could coordinate your outfit accordingly.
